2 env. chicken gravy mix
2 3/4 c. water
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 - 3/4 c. chopped celery
2 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 large onion, chopped
5 medium carrots, sliced (or peas, frozen)
3 chicken breasts
3 Tbsp. flour
1/3 c. cold water
In a slow cooker, combine gravy mix, 2 3/4 c. water, celery, bouillon and pepper until blended. add carrots, onions and chicken. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hrs. or high 3 1/2-4 hrs. If on low, increase heat to high. In a small bowl, combine the flour and cold water until smooth; gradually stir into slow cooker. Cover and cook for 1 hour. If using frozen peas, throw them in right at the end and heat through. Serve over biscuits, toast or mashed potatoes. Serves 4-6.
***This was good but it needed salt so you may want to add a little to the mix right at the end.
